Hull and Barnsley Railway Stock Fund Visit
Hull and Barnsley Railway Stock Fund Visit
Over the weekend of the 10 and 11 of September the Yorkshire Wolds Railway are proud to be hosting members of the Hull and Barnsley Railway Stock Fund at the Fimber Halt site.
We will be open from 10-3 on the Saturday, and 10-4 on the Sunday.
The H&BRSF team will be bringing artefacts including tickets and many pictures of the Hull and Barnsley Railway around Hull and the Wolds.
To give as many people as possible the chance to see the items on display and in a change to our usual operational hours, the YWR will be open on both Saturday and Sunday giving cab rides along the 1000ft railway line. This will also give the opportunity to see the works on the installation of the signal box. This box is the original one from Sprotbrough on the Hull and Barnsley Railway!
We look forward to seeing you on site!

Good weather for both days though today was by far the busiest with a packed car park and plenty of visitors and some budding new volunteers.

We popped in for an hour. It was certainly busy. Car park was rammed.

Re: Hull and Barnsley Railway Stock Fund Visit
I donated to both Hull and YWR.
It'll be good to see the weekends results.
